Mental Health Crisis Line for Children and Young Families in Surrey

This 24/7 mental health crisis line provides emotional wellbeing support, advice, and signposting to a range of community services for children, young people, up to the age of 18, and their families and carers who are in a mental health crisis. The number is available to those who are receiving mental health services and those who are not. No referral is needed.

Talking Therapies, or psychological therapies, are effective and confidential treatments delivered by fully trained and accredited NHS practitioners. They can help with common mental health problems like stress, anxiety and depression. Adults can access talking therapies on the NHS by referring yourself directly to an NHS psychological therapies service (IAPT) without a referral from a GP.

An online mental wellbeing community, commissioned by the NHS and Local Authorities to provide free, safe and anonymous personalised mental health support to children and Young People.
MindEd is a free online educational resource on children and young people’s mental health for all adults, which can support parents and carers https://mindedforfamilies.org.uk
Qwell is a free online well-being service for parents/carers of young people with SEND in Surrey. It offers a safe and secure means of accessing support with any emotional health and wellbeing needs from a professional team of qualified counsellors. Qwell offers peer to peer support, self-help, magazine articles as well as forums. Qwell is also there to provide support to the friends and family who are supporting someone caring and living with a child/ren with SEN (age 0-25yrs).
Family line started out 20 years ago with the aim of delivering a free, confidential helpline to support people with parenting issues and to play a key role in safeguarding the wellbeing of families. Today we are proud to provide two free national telephone helplines and associated email support. “Family Line” for people of all ages with parenting or personal issues and I Need Help specifically concerned with giving young people a safe place to talk through the complex challenges they face.

A virtual service over the phone is available every week day from 4pm - 8.30pm and weekends from 12pm - 6pm for young people (10 – 18 yrs) to talk and access support.
CYP Havens are offering virtual 1:1 sessions or group workshops using attend anywhere and Teams.
